Morning Routine Of Winners - How To Win The Day Like An Entrepreneur

Every person's morning routine is unique and it depends on your personality. You need to have an established morning routine to then be able to tweak it to your preferences. If you are a striving entrepreneur like many of us in this community, you know how important small wins throughout the day are. I have curated a list of 5 easy wins that you can use to spice up your entrepreneur morning routine.

1. Make your bed

In his amazing book The Power Of Habit, Charles Duhigg says “making your bed every morning is correlated with better productivity, a greater sense of well-being, and stronger skills at sticking with a budget.” Making your bed is what he calls a “keystone habit”. Making your bed every morning has great power and it will make getting back into bed much more pleasurable.

2. Do the easiest thing on the list

This tip is very important if you are trying to get your life together. After you've gotten up, the best thing to kick-start your productivity is to do the thing on your list that takes the least time. It is recommended that you prepare your to-do plan the day or night before. After you have completed this task, all other things that need your attention will seem smaller.

3. Work out in the morning

Your entrepreneur morning routine is not complete without an early workout. Not only does it get your metabolism going, it also clears up your mind and you can take on the day without foggy thoughts. This is one of the hardest things on the list for many people, by doing it as soon as possible you ensure that you win the day.

4. Meditate

After lunch, when your productivity starts going down, having a 10-minute meditation session is good practice. There are many ways to practice meditation, it's as easy as looking up guided meditation videos on YouTube. I found out about them through online research, and their meditation courses have been a great addition to my routine ever since.

5. Reset your space

Resetting your desk space is crucial to doing your routine effectively every day. It is much easier to dive into daily tasks at a clean and organized desk then a messy one. Every day when you finish working, take your time to put everything back in its place.
